Our
Programs

We meet youth where they are — in the community, at the table, or behind the mic. We create safe spaces to vent, reflect, and build.

What We Believe

Break Bread Community Dinners

Good food. Real talk. Every month, we host chef-led community meals followed by guided convos about life, goals, and growth.

Who it’s for: Teens 13–19

Rhyme & Reason Sessions (Workshops)

Music, poetry, art, and storytelling workshops that help you express what’s inside. Write a story, paint your truth, or spit bars — learn how to share your voice.

Who it’s for: Creative youth 12–24 ready to speak their mind.

No One Left Out (Outreach)

We bring our programs into juvenile facilities and group homes — no one gets left behind. These sessions offer hope, healing, and tools for what’s next.

Who it’s for: At risk youth, justice-involved youth, and those in residential care

Side by Side (1:1 Mentorship)

We pair you with a trained mentor who gets it. No lectures — just someone to walk with you through life’s challenges.

Who it’s for: Youth who want personal support, advice, and consistency.

Street Smart / Book Smart (Tutoring & Career Readiness)

We’ll help you sharpen your skills, own your story, and step confidently into your future.

Who it’s for: Students and young adults ready to level up.

Free Expression (Art Expression Days)

A laid-back space where we gather to make, share, and reflect. Sometimes we turn it into a pop-up gallery. Other times it’s just about hanging out, putting brush to paper, and getting what’s inside… out.

Who it’s for: Anyone who wants to express themselves visually—and connect with others through creativity.

Breakaway Retreats

Safe getaways for deeper healing and bonding. Think food, nature, reflection, and space to breathe.

Who it’s for:Youth who’ve been through it and need a reset.

On Site (School & Program Partnerships)

We collaborate with schools, afterschool programs, churches, and juvenile systems to bring our workshops into your spaces.

Who it’s for: Reach out.

They’ve Lived It. They’ll Tell You

“I used to think nobody cared. Then I started coming to Breaking Bread… now I know I’ve got a voice—and a crew that’s got my back.”

Tariq, 17

“I’m not here to fix anyone. I’m here to walk beside them. And that changes everything.”

Jasmine, Mentor
